About the Fellowship Experience :

As an IgniteU Fellow, you will work with internal and / or external companies under the direction of an assigned mentor. Fellows will learn consulting competencies, such as industry understanding, client / business perspective, leadership, resource management, opportunity development, consulting business knowledge, partnering and networking, personal interaction, managing quality, business ethics, and continued learning and development.

As a fellow in the IgniteU Fellowship Program, you will collaborate with team members to conceptualize, deliver, and support our clients and industry partners through today's ever-changing landscape. At NYSTEC, we have a vested interest in developing the workforce of tomorrow.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform consulting services in collaboration with a mentor.
• Participate in Design Thinking Course
• Develop and foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Proactively share information that will make colleagues and clients more successful.
• Learn and use appropriate NYSTEC tools and processes.
• Demonstrate the NYSTEC Core Values and Behaviors.

The NYSTEC IgniteU Fellowship Program for Spring 2026 will run from January 20, 2026- April 28, 2026. Specific experiential learning hours can be negotiated based on the fellow's availability. Classes will be held from 6-8pm on Tuesday evenings in all 3 NYSTEC office locations dependent on school location / syllabus schedule and virtually.
