Sonographer / Ultrasound Technologist

Position Overview :
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Sonographer to join our mobile diagnostic team, providing high-quality imaging services directly at patients' bedsides. This role is ideal for professionals who value flexibility, independence, and meaningful patient care-especially for individuals who have difficulty traveling to clinical facilities. A company vehicle and portable equipment are provided to support efficient workflow and minimize administrative overhead.
Key Responsibilities :
- Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, demonstrating professionalism, empathy, and a strong clinical presence.
- Perform a variety of ultrasound and Doppler studies accurately, promptly, and with prioritization of urgent cases.
- Upload images into PACS, communicate with interpreting physicians, and ensure timely reporting to ordering providers.
- Maintain precise documentation of all services performed, following organizational guidelines and best practices.
- Properly handle and maintain all assigned equipment, including company vehicle, devices, and ultrasound tools.
- Actively promote imaging services to help expand reach and build patient trust.
- Assist with additional tasks as needed, including potential callbacks or occasional deliveries of diagnostic CDs.
Qualifications :
Must possess one or more of the following active credentials :Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT)Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS)Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS)Demonstrated ability to work independently while maintaining strong collaboration with the broader care team.Strong commitment to patient care, especially for elderly or physically limited individuals.Excellent driving record is required due to the mobile nature of the role; a vehicle is provided.Physically capable of performing job-related duties; a physical exam is required upon hire and biennially.Willingness to submit to a background check and drug screening.Flexibility in scheduling to accommodate patient needs.Prior experience in portable / mobile imaging is beneficial, but training is available for the right candidate.Benefits Include :
