Sterile Processing Technician (SPT)

Full Time Evening Shift 2 : 30pm-11 : 00pm

POSITION SUMMARY :

The Surgical Technologist assists in surgical operations under the supervision of surgeons, registered nurses, or other surgical personnel. They ensure the operating room environment is safe, sterile, and equipped with the necessary instruments and supplies for surgery.

Prepare operating rooms by setting up surgical instruments, equipment, and sterile drapes.

Sterilize instruments and ensure all materials meet infection control standards.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS (including required licenses / certifications, education and job knowledge / experience) :

High School Diploma or equivalent

Certified Required (CST) with NBSTSA

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required from American Heart Association

Strong knowledge of sterile techniques, surgical procedures, and medical terminology.

Excellent communication, teamwork, and attention to detail.

Must be able to pass Background and Drug Test screenings.
