Job description
  • Lead end-to-end project management for data transformation, cloud transformation, and analytics initiatives , ensuring alignment with PMO standards and best practices.
  • Develop, maintain, and execute comprehensive project plans , including scope, timelines, budgets, risk management, resource allocation, and quality control.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and serve as the primary point of communication between business leaders, IT teams, vendors, and executive sponsors.
  • Drive cloud migration programs (Azure, AWS, GCP, or equivalent), ensuring security, scalability, and business continuity.
  • Oversee data modernization and integration projects , including migration from legacy systems to cloud-based platforms and implementation of data lakehouse, data warehouse, or advanced analytics solutions .
  • Facilitate governance and compliance across all project phases, ensuring adherence to organizational, industry, and regulatory standards.
  • Implement agile, waterfall, or hybrid methodologies as appropriate to project type and organizational culture.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, resolve issues proactively, and escalate when necessary.
  • Deliver status reports, dashboards, and executive updates , ensuring transparency of project health, progress, and performance metrics.
  • Coach and mentor team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the PMO.
  • Qualifications

    Required :

    • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration , or related field.
    • 5+ years of experience in project management , with at least 2 years focused on data transformation, cloud transformation, or data analytics projects .
    • Proven track record of delivering large-scale, multi-stakeholder technology programs on time and within budget.
    • Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) , data architecture (data warehouses, data lakes, lakehouses), and modern analytics tools .
    • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills .
    • Proficiency with project management tools (MS Project, ConnectWise, JIRA, Smartsheet, Asana, or equivalent).
    • Preferred :

    • PMO certification (PMP, PgMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent).
    • Experience with Agile frameworks (Scrum, SAFe, Kanban) and hybrid delivery models.
    • Familiarity with data governance, compliance, and security frameworks (GDPR, HIPAA, SOC2, etc.).
    • Experience in vendor and contract management .
