System Administrator (TS / SCI)

Overview

Maxar is seeking a solutions-oriented System Administrator to work in an agile operational environment supporting a user base with a mission to solve unique and challenging problems in support of national security. The ideal candidate will be part of a small multi-disciplinary software and analytics team with the opportunity to interact directly with users and other technologists to ensure solutions, development and tools meet customer needs. Requirements

Note : US citizenship and an active TS / SCI clearance is mandatory for this position and required for consideration. Consideration to acquire CI Poly possible.

Location : Herndon, VA; Westminster, CO

Principal Responsibilities

• Monitors secure side systems operations to develop appropriate solutions and implement them.
• Improve system operations and functionality, monitoring, and optimization of the platform.
• Track and remediate IAVM vulnerabilities.
• Implement STIG guidance.
• Support ATO sustainment efforts such as patching.
• Work with software and system engineers to apply automated test and documentation processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network, automation pipelines, and infrastructure issues.
• Integrate static code analysis and other security mechanisms into the pipeline.
• Communicate with multidisciplinary teams and articulate technical concepts and ideas effectively.

Salary and Benefits

The base pay for this position varies by location and ranges from $100,000.00 to $125,000.00. We offer a comprehensive benefits package including paid time off, health and welfare insurance, and 401(k) for eligible employees. Details available at : https : / / www.maxar.com / careers / benefits
