Job descriptionPatient Demographics : Primarily orthopedic patients, postoperative and follow-up care Patient Volume / Census : patients per day Case Mix : Upper extremity orthopedic surgery follow-ups and outpatient evaluations Office Equipment Available : Standard outpatient orthopedic clinic Specialty Backup Available : Orthopedic Surgeon Support Staff Available : Clinic team Reason for Coverage : Locum need for Sports Medicine midlevel support Rate : TBD Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance Postoperative orthopedic assessments General sports medicine follow-up evaluations Licenses : Active Georgia NP or PA license required Experience : Orthopedic experience highly preferred; must be comfortable in a high-volume sports medicine clinic Other Qualifications : Must be comfortable working independently with orthopedic surgical patients Evaluate and treat patients in a busy outpatient orthopedic setting Manage postoperative and follow-up visits daily Work directly with orthopedic upper extremity specialist Document care and assessments per clinic protocol Collaborate with clinic staff to deliver high-quality patient care
