Role: Network Engineer
Location: Olathe, KS (Onsite)

This role is critical to high‑impact business operations, requiring rapid execution and the ability to drive complex network issues to resolution in real time. We are seeking an expert-level Network Engineer who can deliver immediate value, lead live troubleshooting, and ensure operational stability across a large‑scale enterprise environment. Strong, vetted candidates who can move quickly through the hiring process are required.
Core Technical Expertise
Cisco SDA
- Implementation and support of Cisco SDA, including DNA Center, ISE integration, and fabric onboarding
- Expertise in fabric operations: edge/control nodes, segmentation, and policy troubleshooting
Cisco ACI
- Hands-on experience with APIC, EPGs, contracts, tenant configuration, and fabric health monitoring
- Troubleshooting L2/L3 connectivity and policy model dependencies
Palo Alto Firewalls
- Administration of PAN‑OS, Panorama, security policies, NAT, routing
- Strong experience with IPSec VPNs (site‑to‑site and remote access)
- Threat prevention profiles and centralized management
Wireless (Enterprise WLAN)
- Manage and optimize wireless networks (Cisco, Aruba, or similar)
- RF planning, performance tuning, roaming optimization, and high‑density deployment troubleshooting
VPN / Multi‑Vendor
- Design, configure, and troubleshoot IPSec VPNs with third‑party interoperability
Infoblox DDI
- DNS, DHCP, IPAM administration
- Grid management, HA configuration, automation integrations
Additional Required Competencies
- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, QoS, multicast
- Proficiency with real‑time packet capture tools (Wireshark) for deep analysis during P1 incidents
Roles & Responsibilities
- Serve as the L3 escalation point for complex and urgent network issues in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment
- Lead live P1 troubleshooting engagements involving cross‑functional teams and multiple stakeholders
- Conduct deep‑dive analysis, test solutions, identify root causes, and implement long‑term remediation
- Manage installation, configuration, and upgrade of network hardware and software
- Provide guidance to L1 and L2 teams to elevate issue resolution quality and operational efficiency
- Execute advanced troubleshooting across LAN, WAN, data center, wireless, application, and security domains
- Ensure network stability through proactive monitoring, optimization, and best‑practice adherence
- Communicate complex technical issues clearly to both technical and non‑technical audiences
- Demonstrate strong time management, independent problem‑solving, and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively
