Prime Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Kingsport, Tennessee.

Key Responsibilities :

Provide direct nursing care to adult and adolescent patients on a Med-Surg / Telemetry unit (1 : 7 ratio).

Perform IV therapy, phlebotomy, central / PICC line care, and blood product administration.

Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond to emergencies using rapid response / code teams.

Manage respiratory support including nasal cannula, HFNC, and chest tubes (preferred).

Deliver gastrointestinal and ostomy care, feeding tube management, and medication administration (insulin, heparin, PCA, etc.).

Implement isolation precautions and ensure infection control compliance.

Float to other units as required and participate in support / education of nursing students.

Requirements :

Minimum 2 years MS / Tele experience (first-time travelers accepted).

Certifications : BLS (required), ACLS & NIHSS preferred .

Epic charting experience preferred.

Must live 100+ miles from facility .

Every other weekend required; no on-call.
