Job Description
This position is in charge of overseeing accounts to identify overdue payments, report collection activity, respond to customer queries, and process payments. In this role, you are also receiving, processing, and verifying invoices related to accounts payable, carrying out billing, collection, and reporting activities to specific deadlines. The ideal candidate provides outstanding service to both internal and external customers.
Compensation :
$55,000 - $60,000 yearly
Responsibilities :
- Release sales orders to the shop and to production based on customer history of payments, balance, and open invoices, customer credit limit, and required deposit.
- Requests a line of credit for each customer through COFACE.
- Follow up on, collect, and allocate payments.
- Processes checks received in the mail, wire transfers, ACHs, and posts them in SAGE on a daily basis.)
- Monitors customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments, and other irregularities.
- Receives and processes credit card payments through Convergepay.
- Create debit and credit memos as approved by the CFO.
- Investigate, resolve, and respond to customers' queries.
- Reconciles the accounts receivable and customer deposits ledgers.
- Make sure all payments are properly posted.
- Responds to and resolves clients’ billing issues and questions.
- Assists with month-end closing.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
- Update the physical count inventory in SAGE.

Qualifications :
Bachelor's Degree (BA) from a four-year college or university preferred, or one to two years of related experience and / or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.Accounting field, 2 years of experience.Bilingual (English / Spanish).Understanding of payments, accounting, and budgeting.Computer skills required, Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)Proficiency in Sage 100.In-depth knowledge of laws and policies related to debt collection.Ability to work independently, self-starter, energetic, demonstrate good common sense and sound judgment.About Company
