Registered Nurse Job Details Location : Cambridge, MA 02138 (Boston metro area) Unit : Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) Employment Type : Travel nursing contract Start Date : January 5, 2026 End Date : February 28, 2026 Contract Duration : 8 weeks Shift : 12-hour nights (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 30 AM) Hours per Week : 36 (72 hours biweekly guaranteed) Estimated Weekly Pay : $2,310 – $2,470 Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Massachusetts or compact state Minimum 2 years of recent ICU or acute care nursing experience Current BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA) certifications required EPIC EMR experience preferred Ability to float between ICU and IMCU units Commitment to full contract period (no holiday or time off approved) ICU Nurse Responsibilities Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to critically ill patients in ICU and IMCU settings Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment Administer medications, treatments, and interventions according to established protocols Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans Utilize EPIC EMR for accurate and timely clinical documentation Maintain a safe, supportive environment for patients and families Float between ICU and IMCU units as required Discover rewarding Massachusetts nursing jobs and experience the best of Cambridge while advancing your healthcare career in a top-tier medical facility.
