Job descriptionStrong understanding of mental health diagnoses and treatment methodologies. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work collaboratively with children, families, and other professionals. Strong observational and analytical skills to assess behavior and progress. Commitment to ethical practices and compliance with relevant regulations. Familiar with HIPAA standards and Electronic Health Record systems (Microsoft TEAMS, Central Reach). Complete a minimum of 16 hours of training annually related to job functions and is in accordance with the training plan and IBHS requirements. Maintain confidentiality in all matters relating to the client and the client's family. Meet established deadlines and schedules.

Job Title : Behavior Consultant (BC)
Job Description : We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavior Consultant (BC) to join our team. The ideal candidate provides training and supervision to BHT providers and participates in assessment and treatment planning in collaboration with clients, families, other caregivers and support staff to promote positive behavioral change, skill development and improved quality of life.
Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct functional behavioral assessments (FBAs) and analyze data to identify patterns and underlying causes of challenging behaviors.
- Supervise Behavioral Health Technicians to help them achieve and maintain excellent service delivery and crisis prevention / management skills
- Develop and monitor the effectiveness of individualized treatment plans for children and adolescents and make improvements as needed.
- Train and coach staff, caregivers and families on evidence-based strategies for therapeutic behavior management.
- Document assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and make recommendations in a timely and professional manner.
- Seek assistance from administration to manage unusual incidents and other emergencies whenever necessary.
