Relationship Manager, Equity Fund Resources
Location : Boston
As a Commercial Banker in the Fund Banking Group, you'll be responsible for managing an existing portfolio and establishing a book of new business of fund finance products. Key responsibilities include negotiating, underwriting, and coordinating the closing of a variety of major and complex loans in compliance with the Bank's lending policies and procedures. You'll also be responsible for assisting clients with deposit related products and services.
- Engage in business development activities and solicitation of new fund finance business based on a target market.
- Interface with customers to assess their credit needs and determine the best deal structure.
- Collaborate closely with treasury partner to ensure seamless client experiences.
- Interview prospective applicants and request specified information related to loan or credit application; correspond or re-interview applicants to resolve questions regarding application information.
- Perform basic pre-qualification assessment and analysis of financial condition and risk of financing requests within framework of Bank credit culture and current economic and industry trends.
- Gather all information necessary to present a financing request to senior management or Loan Committee for approval; meet with new / potential customers; negotiate loan terms and conditions; refer and recommend acceptance to the Chief Credit Officer or Loan Committee.
- Coordinate processing of approved loans; ensure loans are processed according to agreement, customer needs and conform to Bank lending policies; obtain sufficient information and / or documentation from customers; solve problems relative to processing and servicing of loans within the portfolio.
- Maintain a superior knowledge of financial industry status and trends.
- Represent the Bank in various community, civic, and community reinvestment functions to further enhance the Bank's image and develop additional business; assist the Bank in establishing and maintaining market position in the financing arena.
What you'll need :
6+ years of related experience.Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.Intermediate to advanced knowledge of general banking operations, including deposit operations, loan administration, treasury management and / or other commercial banking products and services.Intermediate to advanced knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices.Advanced knowledge in all facets of relationship management.Advanced organizational and time management skills.Advanced speaking and writing communication skills.May require up to 50% travel.Compensation : Salary range for new hires is generally $150,000.00 - $190,584.00 for Boston, MA. Salary range for new hires is generally $150,000.00 - $190,584.00 for San Francisco, CA. Salary range for new hires is generally $150,000.00 - $190,584.00 for San Jose, CA. Salary amount is determined by specific job location. In addition, the role may be eligible for annual bonus / incentives earned and restricted stock.
