Summary : The Automation & Operational Technology (OT) Engineer provides hands-on technical support for automation and OT systems across manufacturing, utilities, quality control, and laboratory environments. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automated systems to improve efficiency, reliability, and compliance. The engineer ensures system integrity, cybersecurity, data integrity, and adherence to regulatory standards such as GMP, 21 CFR Part 11, and Annex 11.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement automated equipment and processes to replace or enhance manual operations.
• Conduct automated system testing to verify performance, reliability, and compliance.
• Identify and define opportunities for automation to improve production efficiency.
• Support the lifecycle management of automation and OT systems, from design through validation.
• Provide hands-on technical support and troubleshooting for site-based automation platforms.
• Develop and maintain system documentation, manuals, and change records.
• Collaborate on CAPEX and OPEX projects involving automation and OT infrastructure.
• Ensure compliance with data integrity, cybersecurity, and regulatory requirements.
