A-Line Staffing is now hiring an Urgent Care LVN in Houston, TX.

The Urgent Care LVN would be working for a Fortune 500 company and has career growth potential. This would be full time, 32–40 hours per week, including every other weekend.

Urgent Care LVN Compensation

The pay for this position is $37.17 per hour

Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment

A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

Urgent Care LVN Highlights

Full-time schedule : 32–40 hours per week, including every other weekend

May require floating to nearby clinic locations

This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based on attendance, performance, and business needs

Urgent Care LVN Responsibilities

Administer vaccinations and injections including influenza, COVID-19, and TB test placements

Obtain and record vital signs

Provide emergency care in collaboration with on-site providers during emergent situations

Perform patient registration, intake, and checkout

Manage the waiting area and assist with patient reminder calls, appointment scheduling, and chaperoning for sensitive exams

Prepare the clinic and waiting space for optimal patient experience

Support the mission to provide patient-focused, high-quality care

Urgent Care LVN Requirements

Active, unrestricted LVN license in the state of Texas

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (must be valid at least 30 days beyond the start date)

Minimum of 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting

Experience administering immunizations and injections

Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems

Ability to take vital signs and provide basic patient care

Must pass a FIT test and wear a respirator mask as required

High School Diploma or GED required

Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care, or Emergency Room

Experience with EPIC EMR
