Are you an innovative and experienced perioperative nursing leader ready to make a major impact? Were seeking a visionary Director of Nursing, Operating Room to lead a high-performing surgical services team and oversee New Mexicos ONLY accredited robotics program .

This is a rare opportunity to guide a complex surgical service line with 600+ cases per month , partner with nationally recognized master surgeons, and influence long-term strategic growth.

What Youll Lead

24 / 7 operational, financial & clinical oversight of the OR, GI Lab, PACU, Pre-op, and Pre-Admission Testing

Stewardship of a threeda Vinci XI robotics program

Quality and patient safety initiatives across perioperative services

Talent development for a team of ~100 clinical & support staff

Key collaboration with surgeons, physicians & system leadership

🎯 Ideal Candidate

You bring :

5+ years of progressive OR nursing leadership

Experience managing high-volume surgical environments (600+ cases / month)

Hands-on robotics program experience

Strong communication, critical thinking & leadership abilities

Ability to lead through influence and foster high engagement

📚 Requirements

• BSN required
• Active New Mexico RN or compact license
• BLS (within 14 days of hire)
• Experience in robotics, perioperative operations, and complex surgical services

Preferred : MSN, MHA, or related masters degree + experience in a specialty or womens hospital.
