Job Description & Requirements Specialty : NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care Discipline : RN Duration : 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift : 12 hours, nights Employment Type : Travel Requested Skill Set : breastfeeding support, strong communication skills Must have : IV insertion in preterm or term infants, Able to work independently with good assessment skills and knowledge of symptoms of declining health in preterm infants Advanced skills needed : Ability to care for and stabilize critically ill infants needing vent support, CPAP, UVC placement, surfactant administration, needle decompression, administer TPN, lipids Procedures performed on unit : Newborn resuscitation, intubation, umbilical line placement, surfactant administration, needle decompression, chest tube insertion, NG / OG feedings, Certifications Required : RN licensure, BLS, NRP About HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA At HealthTrust Workforce Solutions, healthcare is not just about the four walls of a facility but about the people who provide and receive care.
