Must-Have :

Experience with preemies (28 weeks and above)

Management of central lines

Respiratory management including intubated patients

Description :

This position involves rapid response nursing in a high-acuity setting.

Staffed with registered nurses, licensed vocational nurses, and patient care technicians.

Patient ratios are 1 : 1 to 1 : 4.

The unit has 108 beds and specializes in neonatal care.

Knowledge of equipment such as nasal cannulas, bubble CPAP, and ventilators is essential.

Candidates will need to be familiar with documentation systems.

Three 12-hour shifts per week are required, including rotating weekends and holidays.

Floating to other units may be necessary based on staffing needs.

Responsibilities include care for patients up to 2 years old.

Advanced skills required include central line insertions and management of surgical and cardiac patients.

Experience with tracheostomy infants and broviacs is preferred.

The dress code consists of royal blue scrubs.

Unit policies and guidelines will be provided upon hiring.
