Urgent Care LVN Compensation
The pay for this position is $37.17 per hour
Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
Urgent Care LVN Highlights
Full-time, contingent role (32–40 hours per week including every other weekend)
Must be willing to float to clinics within 40 miles if needed
Schedules are created in 6-week blocks following 3 weeks of training / orientation
Shifts typically range from 7–10 hours during clinic operating hours
Position includes some major holiday work requirements
Urgent Care LVN Responsibilities
Administer vaccinations and injections, including influenza, COVID, and TB test placements
Obtain vital signs and assist in providing emergency care with the provider on site
Perform patient registration, intake, and checkout
Assist with waiting room management and patient outreach calls
Support patient scheduling, reminder calls, and serve as chaperone for sensitive exams
Prepare the clinic and waiting space to ensure an excellent patient experience
Provide patient-focused care and help meet the mission of improving community health
Urgent Care LVN Requirements
Active, unrestricted Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license in the state of Texas
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (CPR / AED required)
Minimum of one year of work experience in a healthcare setting
Experience administering immunizations and injections
Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems
Must pass a FIT test and wear the provided respirator mask when required
Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care, or Emergency Room settings
Prior experience with EPIC EMR
Education
Graduate of an accredited school of Practical or Vocational Nursing, approved by the state agency or accredited by the National League for Nursing (NLNAC)
