Description :

Please ensure the traveler is aware of the following :

The position is located in an area that may be impacted by hurricanes.

The hurricane season runs from June 1 to November 30, but storms can occur outside of this window.

Upon accepting the assignment and starting the role, the unit manager may assign the traveler to an "Emergency Team."

There will be an expectation to stay at the facility until after the storm passes or to be part of the relief team.

Specific details pertaining to pay will be relayed for each storm as impacts vary.

By signing the travel contract, the traveler accepts the conditions and agrees to report as assigned by the unit manager in the event of a storm.

Travelers should not apply during the hurricane window if they are not comfortable with these expectations.

The shift schedule includes a combination of 6 : 00 AM to 2 : 30 PM, 10 : 30 AM to 7 : 00 PM, and 2 : 30 PM to 11 : 00 PM, depending on the unit's needs.

Daily on-call responsibilities from 11 : 00 PM to 7 : 00 AM, with weekend coverage from 11 : 00 PM to 6 : 30 AM.

All technologists rotate call, typically covering 2 times per week and every other weekend, which can be discussed further during the interview.

Unit accepts 1st-time travelers.

2 years of experience is required in the specialty.

Candidates must be able to provide 2 manager or supervisor references.

References are required for clearance to start the contract.

Certifications must be in PDF format.

Candidates must be over 65 miles distance from the job site upon submission.

Allied candidates with pending licenses must apply for Allied Health licensure within 72 hours of signing the contract.

Resources who have worked as permanent staff must be separated from the facility for 1 full year before returning as travelers.
