We're looking for a Territory Sales Manager to grow our presence throughout Northern California by connecting with cities, counties, and other public-sector clients who are ready to take their infrastructure lighting to the next level.
What You'll Do
- Cultivate Relationships : Build lasting partnerships with municipalities, utilities, and public agencies becoming their trusted advisor for lighting and infrastructure solutions.
- Drive Market Growth : Expand awareness of GBL's comprehensive line card and elevate our position with key stakeholders and specifiers across the region.
- Collaborate for Success : Partner with internal specification and contractor sales teams to coordinate strategy and ensure full project coverage from concept to installation.
- Spot Opportunities : Track regional projects and identify upcoming bids and initiatives where GBL can make an impact.
- Showcase Expertise : Confidently communicate technical and design advantages from decorative pedestrian poles to connected 5G and solar systems.
What Makes You a Great Fit
5+ years of experience in outdoor lighting, public-sector sales, or related infrastructure marketsA network of contacts among municipalities, counties, or lighting specifiers in Northern CaliforniaStrong presentation and communication skills with a knack for translating technical details into customer valueA self-starter who thrives on autonomy and takes pride in building lasting relationshipsComfortable traveling throughout a broad region and organizing your own schedule effectivelyWhat You'll Gain
