Overview
Summary : Under the direction of and reporting to the Critical Power Regional Director, the Electrician will primarily be responsible for performing lead electrical work in the installation, alteration, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, fixtures, and equipment for National Power customers.
The successful candidate will have the ability to independently assess the needs of a job based on schematics or blueprints but may also conduct assignments based on written and oral instructions. The ideal candidate will bring a positive attitude, teamwork abilities, and a commitment to safety.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide on-site client installation, repairs, and maintenance of equipment
- Oversee all network services and perform tests on equipment and circuits
- Troubleshoot issues and resolve any requests or concerns that come up in a timely manner
- Perform tests to ensure systems are error-free
- Maintain relationships with customers and follow company guidelines
- Guide clients on how to properly use equipment
- Follow all applicable building codes and safety regulations
- Make suggestions for equipment upgrades while maintaining the current inventory, including vans and trucks
- Update project records and prepare relevant documents and reports
