We are seeking an experienced and motivated  Operations Supervisor  to oversee daily operations across multiple shop areas, ensuring that production goals are met efficiently, safely, and on schedule.

This role involves leading a team, troubleshooting equipment, and collaborating with HR and management to drive continuous improvement and maintain high-quality standards.  Who We Are :

  • Byron, GA / 2nd Shift       What We Offer :    Excellent Compensation    Medical, Dental, & Vision Insurance    Health Savings Account    Life & Disability Insurance    Employee Assistance Program    Team Meetings     Employee Committees & Involvement    Bonus Incentive Program    Community Service Day    Team Events & Activities    Awesome Company Culture   What You’ll Do :    Team Management :   Supervise and coordinate the activities of production team members across multiple shop areas, including 224 and 226, as well as the powder coating department.  Work closely with leads to ensure their daily needs are met, fostering collaboration and efficiency.  Provide training, coaching, and performance feedback to employees.  Production Oversight :   Oversee day-to-day production operations throughout assigned shops.  Ensure all employees are logged into jobs and actively working to meet production goals.  Review daily time logs for accuracy and compliance.  Meet weekly and monthly production schedules to align with company objectives.  Equipment and Problem Solving :   Troubleshoot production equipment, particularly welding machines, to minimize downtime.  Proactively address production challenges and implement solutions.  Collaboration and Communication :   Collaborate with HR for discipline, hiring, terminations, and performance evaluations.  Assist management in creating and refining key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and identify areas for improvement.  Quality Assurance :   Ensure products meet quality standards and customer specifications.  Conduct routine inspections to maintain consistent output.  Implement corrective actions when quality issues arise.  Safety and Compliance :   Enforce workplace safety standards and protocols.  Conduct safety audits and ensure employees follow safety guidelines.  Maintain compliance with all company policies and regulatory requirements.  Reporting and Tracking :   Maintain accurate production records and prepare reports for management.  Communicate goals, expectations, and updates effectively to the team.  Who You Are :    Proven leadership and team management skills with 3+ years of experience in manufacturing or production, including at least 1 year in a supervisory role.  Strong background in production planning, scheduling, and resource allocation to meet goals and deadlines.  Knowledgeable in quality assurance, safety compliance, and industry regulations.  Skilled in problem-solving, conflict resolution, and decision-making to maintain efficient operations and a positive work environment.  Proficient in production management software, ERP systems, and MS Office Suite.  Experienced in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives.  Strong analytical, communication, organizational, and time management abilities.
