Job Title : Field Service Engineer - Medical Device (MD, VA, PA, NC)

Job Summary

Join Strata Skin Sciences as a Field Service Engineer ! We're seeking a motivated and skilled professional to join our team, serving customers in Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and North Carolina . This home-based role is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of our cutting-edge dermatology medical devices in medical offices and spas. This is a field service role, not an IT position . We offer a competitive salary of $75,000 - $90,000 based on experience.

Key Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance on all Strata products.
Install and remove equipment with precision and accuracy.
Troubleshoot and correct complex technical problems in the field.
Build strong relationships with clients and laser operators.
Accurately complete all required service paperwork in a timely manner.
Adhere to company Service Level Agreements.
Provide timely phone support to customers and colleagues.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Biomedical or Electrical Engineering , or equivalent work experience.

3+ years of field service experience with medical devices or similar multi-disciplinary equipment.

Proven experience in managing a service territory , including strong time management and organizational skills.

Knowledge of lasers and multidisciplinary equipment is highly desirable.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word).

Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and provide exceptional customer service.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

This is an independent, home-based position requiring extensive travel within the assigned territory.

Proficiency with standard hand tools, meters, computers, and mobile devices is required.

Must be able to lift and move up to 75 pounds .

The role involves physical activities such as kneeling, squatting, and prolonged periods of sitting and standing.
