Inventory Technician
Collins Aerospace is seeking to hire an Inventory Technician at our Foley, AL location. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the accuracy, flow, and control of materials across our MRO (Maintenance, Repair, Overhaul) facility. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and committed to maintaining compliance with regulatory standards while supporting production and maintenance needs. You'll be responsible for managing the receipt, storage, movement, and documentation of parts and materials, as well as assisting with inventory accuracy initiatives and supporting overall operational efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
What You Will Do :
- Work onsite at our Foley, AL Location
- Work Monday-Thursday (10 : 15am 7 : 15pm) Friday (10 : 15am-4 : 15pm) Hours are subject to change
- Work varying shifts, including but not limited to nights, weekends, holidays, rotating shifts, and overtime as required.
- Utilize Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) : safety glasses with side shields, hearing protection, safety vest, and other PPE as needed
- Able to travel up to 5% domestically and internationally when circumstances require
- Receipt of parts from internal and external suppliers ensuring quality and documentation complies with all regulatory compliance requirements
- Pick, stock, delivery and monitoring of parts and material
- Cycle counting to facilitate the accuracy and integrity of inventory items
- Accurate, safe, and timely unloading of transportation vehicles
- Monitor inventory and reorder stock supplies as needed
- Coordinate loading, unloading, and transportation of parts using forklift and crane
- Provide clear, concise, and professional communication
- Ensures work area is organized and clean
- Ensure documentation is clear, accurate, and organized
- Ensure standard work and processes are followed
- Support strategic projects in support of facility and company goals
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications You Must Have :
Typically requires HS Diploma or AA / AS degree (or other 2-year post-high school training) with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experienceExperience with inventory control and / or receiving supplier parts process'sExperience utilizing MS Office : Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OutlookExperience using an ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systemQualifications We Prefer :
