About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Profession : Nursing

Specialty : Observation Unit

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : 1st shift, every other or every 3rd weekend based on needs

Hours per Shift : 12 hours

Experience : Minimum years of experience required in relevant nursing practice

License : Current state Registered Nurse License or a Multi-state Nursing License from a participating state in the Nurse Licensure Compact

Certifications : American Heart Association Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an approved equivalent

Must-Have : Associate's degree in nursing

Description :

The Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for an identified group of patients in an inpatient environment.

This individual demonstrates competency in the delivery of care to a primarily adult population.

The Registered Nurse provides clinical competence and experience in the care and management of target patient populations specific to the area of employment.

Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice is required, normally acquired through completion of education at an accredited School of Nursing.

This position requires the ability to evaluate a patient's needs and develop individualized care plans.

The Registered Nurse will collaborate with a healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Adherence to established protocols and standards of practice is expected.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills are necessary for effective patient and team interactions.
