ProKatchers is seeking a travel Echo Technologist for a travel job in Lancaster, Ohio.

Job Description & Requirements

Shift : Days, 7 : 00 AM - 5 : 30 PM, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday - Thursdays off.

Work Experience :

  • One to two years of experience as an echocardiography technician preferred, including 2-D echo with M-Mode, spectral, & color flow doppler, transesophageal echocardiography, and stress echocardiography.
  • All the criteria-based duties and standards within this document will be performed according to established policies, procedures and guidelines within the department and the Center.
  • Performs and assists with cardiovascular procedures ordered by physicians to assist in the diagnosis of patients. Performs a wide variety of related duties as assigned, including assisting the physician and staff with other non-invasive cardiopulmonary procedures. Carries out the policies and procedures of the department to ensure a high standard of quality of care. Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Customer Relations
  • While performing the above, the employee will enhance positive relations with all customers including but not limited to : patients, families, hospital and medical staff.
  • Team Member Relations and Quality of Service
  • This position will willingly share knowledge with others, promote and support new roles, assist in staffing needs, maintain safe environment, all to facilitate meeting organizational goals.
  • All the duties and standards within this job description will be performed according to the established policies and guidelines outlined in the department and Center policy and procedure manuals. These will be measured through surveys, department goals, peer input, expectation and experience.

    • Education : Associate or Bachelors of Science degree in Vascular / Echocardiography from an accredited institution for cardiac ultrasound or on the job training with associates' degree in Allied Health.

    License :

    Cardiovascular Credentialing International {CCI},

    ARDMS registered cardiac sonographer or registry eligible, and CPR required.

    Certifications :

    BLS / CPR Certification.
