Key Responsibilities of the Assistant Controller

Oversee the global monthly close, consolidations, intercompany reconciliations, and FX treatment

Provide technical accounting guidance (equity, FX, revenue recognition)

Partner with FP&A, Treasury, and Tax to align reporting and strengthen financial operations

Lead process improvements and ERP optimization (Oracle, Adaptive, Wands) to shorten the close cycle

Support internal and external audits to ensure compliance and readiness

Mentor and develop accounting staff once direct reports are added to the team

Drive automation initiatives and implement best practices for global accounting operations

Requirements for the Assistant Controller

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA required)

7-10 years of progressive accounting experience, including 3-4 years in large public audit (Big Four or top 10)

2-3 years of industry experience with a global, multinational company

Expertise in global FX, intercompany transactions, and consolidations

Strong US GAAP knowledge and experience leading global close

ERP experience (Oracle strongly preferred)

Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills
