Med / Surg Tele RN Job Details Location : Allentown, Pennsylvania 18103 (Lehigh Valley)

Assignment Length : 13 weeks

Start Date : November 24, 2025

End Date : February 23, 2026

Shift : Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19 : 00 - 07 : 30)

Hours per Week : 36

Estimated Weekly Salary : $1930-$2070

Setting : Float Pool Medical / Surgical (MS / Tele), with potential to float to PCU and rehab units

Patient Ratio : 1 : 5-7

Charting System : EPIC

Weekend / Holiday : Every other weekend and holiday rotation required

Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Pennsylvania or Compact RN license (must be in hand at submission)

Minimum 2 years of recent Med / Surg Telemetry nursing experience

Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications

Proficient in interpreting telemetry and managing diverse Med / Surg and Telemetry patients

Experience with EPIC electronic health record (EHR) system

Flu vaccine required (medical / religious exemptions accepted)

Willingness to float to PCU and rehab units as needed

Preferred : Previous charge nurse, SICU, trauma, LTAC, or community hospital experience

RN Responsibilities Deliver safe, compassionate, and effective nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in a high-acuity Med / Surg Tele environment

Monitor and interpret telemetry, manage dysrhythmias, and respond to rapid response / code situations

Administer medications, manage IVs, and provide wound care

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including physical therapy, respiratory therapy, pharmacy, and social services

Float between units as required, adapting to various patient populations and unit needs

Document patient care accurately and efficiently using EPIC

Participate in weekend and holiday rotations as scheduled
