We are pleased to offer the opportunity to work as a Housing and Community Development Planner with the DuPage County Department of Community Services. This position is responsible for planning work to obtain and administer Federal entitlement funds allocated to DuPage County through programs including, but not limited to, the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program, the HOME Investment Partnership (HOME) Program, and the Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG) Program.
This is a grant funded position.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE
Completion of a Bachelor's degree in Public or Business Administration, Planning or related field, with an emphasis on housing and community development; and two years of experience in community development, planning, grant administration, project management, or construction escrow administration or related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Must possess and maintain in good standing, a valid Illinois driver's license.
