Role Overview
Plan, coordinate, and execute engine and component-level testing for new technologies and products. Ensure testing meets schedule and cost targets, and report results to project leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide feedback and guidance during design, assembly, and testing phases
- Participate in design and gate reviews
- Support tooling, instrumentation, and hardware modification for testing
- Prepare and manage test planning documentation and assembly test orders
- Lead test planning and readiness reviews (internal and external)
- Coordinate assigned test resources to achieve objectives
- Collaborate with test methods teams on facility and equipment modifications
- Work closely with project leadership to maintain scope and schedule
Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering3-5+ years of relevant test experienceStrong project, design, and manufacturing knowledgeProficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint)Experience with NX and TeamcenterSkilled in Python or other data post-processing tools for large data setsStrong mechanical aptitude; turbofan engine knowledge preferredExcellent written and verbal communication skillsHighly motivated, organized, and flexible for long-duration testingWillingness to travel for third-party facility testingU.S. citizenship requiredAbility to obtain a U.S. Government Security ClearanceLocation : Pontiac (60-70%) / Walled Lake (30-40%)
Compensation : Base + Bonus + Signing Bonus
