About the role

  • We are seeking a Senior Front-End Engineer with expertise in JavaScript / TypeScript frameworks (React or Angular) to design and develop dynamic, user-friendly web portals for both internal and public B2B audiences. You will play a key role in building scalable, cloud-based solutions on AWS for our mortgage insurance company , ensuring seamless user experiences and high-performance interfaces

What you'll do

  • Design and develop responsive, intuitive, and scalable front-end applications for internal and external B2B web portals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including back-end developers, architects, and business stakeholders, to define and implement features.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code using JavaScript / TypeScript frameworks such as React or Angular.
  • Integrate front-end applications with RESTful APIs and back-end systems.
  • Optimize applications for maximum performance, scalability, and security.
  • Conduct thorough testing, including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing, to ensure code quality and reliability.
  • Participate in code reviews to maintain high coding standards and ensure adherence to best practices.
  • Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in front-end development and recommend innovations to improve our portals.
  • Work within an AWS cloud-based environment, leveraging cloud-native tools and best practices for deployment and scalability.

    • Qualifications

  • Master's degree in computer science
  • 5+ years of experience in Java backend development
  • Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript , with hands-on experience in frameworks such as React or Angular .
  • Strong understanding of modern front-end development practices, including state management ( Redux , Context API , NgRx ) and component-based architecture.
  • Experience in developing and deploying web applications in a cloud environment (preferably AWS ).
  • Expertise in HTML5 , CSS3 , and responsive design principles.
  • Knowledge of integrating with RESTful APIs and handling data in JSON format.
  • Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL , MySQL )
  • Experience with version control systems ( GitHub ) and collaboration workflows.
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with front-end performance optimization techniques and tools.

    • Preferred Qualifications

  • AWS Solution Architect Certification
  • Experience with Java and Spring Boot , including integration with front-end applications.
  • Experience with workflow automation platforms like Camunda.
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and CI / CD pipelines.
  • Knowledge of GraphQL for API integration.
  • Understanding of AWS services, such as S3 , Aurora, ECS , Fargate etc.
  • Strong UX / UI design sensibility with the ability to collaborate effectively with design teams.
