As a Security Officer - Hospital Patrols in Raleigh, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare setting, you will play a vital role in helping to create a secure and welcoming environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the facility, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that arise. You will interact with a diverse community, providing excellent customer service and clear communication while upholding the values of reliability, agility, and teamwork. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a dynamic medical location.

Position Type : Full Time

Pay Rate : $20.06 / Hour

Job Schedule : 9 : 45 PM - 6 : 00 AM (DayTime)

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies in a healthcare environment.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for healthcare locations.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel.
  • Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials as required.
  • Support emergency response activities as appropriate, including guiding staff and visitors during incidents.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate logs of activities, observations, and incidents as required by site procedures.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
