Essential Functions

Technical Knowledge / Skill / Education / Licenses / Certifications :

Student must be currently enrolled in a four year accredited university program.

Effectively uses code version control systems such as git

Understands basic programming and OOP concepts

Understands core application development patterns

Experienced using data structures

Familiar with traditional data stores

Familiar with REST API syntax and tools for documenting and testing the REST APIs such as Swagger and Postman

Familiar with Agile methodology

Theoretical knowledge of work area

Ability to work autonomously with limited supervision

Displays strong work ethic

Understands direction provided and implements assigned tasks effectively

Displays Project / team level impact

Troubleshoots simple engineering problems by checking logs, using developer tools and debugger effectively

Able to use existing knowledge of algorithms, structures and patterns to design and implement solutions of light to moderate complexity.

Communicates effectively during meetings

Completes work or raises roadblocks in a timely manner

Experience using TypeScript and Node.js

Familiar with Microfrontends and Microservices

Knowledge of .NET Framework 4.x and .NET Core 3.x

Experience using Visual Studio utilizing the C# programming language.

Interns are paid through our Managed Service Provider Program and are not employees of Eversource. Pay rates are hourly, based on year of graduation and if the role is technical or non-technical. Responding to emergency situations to meet customers’ needs is part of every employee’s role. If employed, you will be given an Emergency Restoration assignment. This means you may be called to assist during an emergency outside of your normal responsibilities, work hours and location.
