$26.61 - $39.92 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Evening Shift : 3 : 00PM-11 : 30PM; rotating weekends and some holidays

Required Travel :

Possible float to other site locations for coverage

What you will do :

Mental Health Associate is a member of a multi-disciplinary team.

Acts as a partner with an accountable nurse to serve as either a primary or associate caregiver to assigned patients for the extent of the hospital stay.

The counselor collaborates with the professional nurse and multi-disciplinary team members to provide holistic, individualized patient care and therapeutic milieu management.

What you will need : Education :

Bachelor's Degree-Human Services or Associate's degree with three years' inpatient psychiatric experience

Certification : CPR

Experience :

With human services such as inpatient psychiatry or direct patient care preferred

Skills :

Interpersonal skills, knowledge of psychiatric terminology & theory, empathy
