Our client, a well-established manufacturing company in Vernon, CA, is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join their team. This is an excellent temp-to-hire opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys full-cycle AP responsibilities, and excels at managing a high-volume inbox.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the full-cycle Accounts Payable process from invoice receipt to payment.
- Oversee and organize the AP inbox; ensure timely responses and processing of incoming invoices.
- Review, match, and enter vendor invoices accurately into the accounting system.
- Process vendor payments via check and ACH, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Assist with vendor account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain vendor files and ensure proper documentation for auditing purposes.
- Support month-end closing activities related to AP.
- Communicate with internal departments and external vendors to resolve invoice or payment issues.
Qualifications- 2+ years of full-cycle Accounts Payable experience, preferably in manufacturing or a similar environment.
- Strong understanding of AP processes, invoice flow, and payment methods (check & ACH).
- Experience managing a shared or high-volume AP inbox.
- Proficiency with accounting systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, etc.) a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and high accuracy with data entry.
- Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team in a fast-paced environment.
Pay Details: $25.00 to $28.00 per hour
