Were seeking a reliable, hands-on Warehouse Lead who isnt afraid to roll up their sleeves and take an active role in daily operations. This position plays a key part in maintaining accurate inventory, supporting production needs, and keeping warehouse activities running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and participate in day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, staging, and shipping of materials and finished goods.
  • Perform hands-on warehouse work as needed, including operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment.
  • Oversee and participate in regular inventory counts, cycle counts, and reconciliations; investigate and resolve discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate records in ERP or inventory management systems.
  • Ensure all materials are properly labeled, rotated, and stored following FIFO and food safety standards.
  • Coordinate closely with production, quality, and purchasing teams to ensure timely material flow.
  • Train and guide warehouse staff on safety, organization, and quality procedures.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment that meets GMP and food safety requirements.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of warehouse experience, preferably in food manufacturing or related industry.
  • 1+ year in a lead or supervisory role preferred.
  • Proven experience operating forklifts and pallet jacks (certification a plus).
  • Strong understanding of inventory control, FIFO, and ERP systems.
  • Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, and food safety regulations.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical warehouse tasks as needed.
  • Proficient in basic computer applications (Excel, Outlook, inventory software).
