Salary : $50,000 - $62,500

This is a remote role, but eligible candidates must reside in one of the following states : IN, MI, IL, OH, KY, TN, MN, MA, FL, GA, PA

Ocassional travel is required once per year for our annual summit in Mishawaka, IN, or to client engagements.

The anticipated salary range for this position is $50,000 to $62,500, depending on experience and qualifications, while our internal pay band for this role extends to $80,000.

Pathfinders, a full-service integrated marketing agency, is looking for an Account Executive who thrives on building relationships and moving work forward. At Pathfinders, our AEs arent order-takers; theyre the face of the agency for their clients. In this role, youll own day-to-day client communications, manage projects across multiple channels, and make sure everything we deliver is on time, on budget, and on brand.

What you will do, in greater detail :

  • Client Relationships
  • Build and maintain trust with clients through proactive engagement

  • Develop a deep understanding of client businesses, brands, and competitors
  • Anticipate needs and identify opportunities for client growth and satisfaction
  • Day-to-Day Communications
  • Serve as the primary client contact, ensuring clear, timely updates

  • Translate client feedback and requests into actionable steps for internal teams
  • Provide a point of view in discussions connecting client objectives to agency recommendations
  • Brand Management
  • Ensure all work meets brand standards and strategic objectives

  • Partner with creative and channel teams to align deliverables with client goals
  • Stay current on client industries and share insights that add value
  • Project Timeline & Budget Tracking
  • Develop and manage project plans; monitor timelines, budgets, and KPIs

  • Proactively flag risks and resolve issues to keep projects on track
  • Prepare scopes of work (SOWs), change orders, and billing with accuracy
  • Internal & External Meetings
  • Lead and contribute to client meetings, presentations, and working sessions with confidence

  • Facilitate collaboration across agency teams, ensuring alignment and accountability
  • Document and communicate outcomes clearly to all stakeholders
  • What wed like to see in a strong candidate :

  • BSc. / B.A. required
  • 3+ years of advertising or marketing agency experience required. Experience with agencies that have full-service offerings (digital, paid media, experiential, social, video, print) is a plus
  • 3+ years of experience with project management software, preferred (preferably in Kantata OX
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly and effectively collaborate with internal teams and clients
  • Ownership : Takes full accountability for accounts, deliverables, and client communication
  • Proactivity & Urgency : Keeps projects moving; tackles tasks immediately and avoids bottlenecks
  • Confidence & Presence : Leads conversations with clients and internal teams; assertive without being abrasive
  • Strategic Point of View : Brings perspective to every meeting and connects client needs with agency solutions
  • Relationship-Driven : Builds rapport with different personalities and adapts communication styles
  • Curiosity & Adaptability : Digs into client industries / products and pivots seamlessly between diverse projects
