This role plays a critical part in minimizing downtime, extending equipment life, and supporting production goals through preventive and corrective maintenance.Maintenance Mechanics work with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and often collaborate with production, engineering, and safety teams to identify issues and implement effective solutions.Responsibilities of a Maintenance Mechanic:

• Perform routine preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues.
• Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns and production interruptions.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Replace or repair worn or defective parts.
• Maintain accurate maintenance and service records.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards (OSHA/lockout/tagout)
• Assist with equipment installation and upgrades.

Requirements of a Maintenance Mechanic:

• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of industrial equipment and manufacturing process.
• Experience with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
• Basic electrical knowledge (motors, controls, wiring).
• Understanding of preventive maintenance programs.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
