Responsibilities and Duties
Provide direct patient care in pediatric anesthesiology and general anesthesiology casesAdminister anesthesia for 4 to 5 hospital cases per day, primarily pediatric elective casesPerform all cases personally and supervise residents or CRNAs as requiredTeach and supervise residents, fellows, medical students, and other traineesMaintain detailed case logs, including a minimum of 100 pediatric cases within the past 12 monthsParticipate in opportunities in subspecialties such as cardiovascular, obstetric, and pain management if qualifiedEngage in academic responsibilities, with eligibility for faculty appointment based on experience and accomplishmentEnsure adherence to hospital policies and quality care standardsAdditional Information
Board certification or eligibility in Anesthesiology required (ABMS / AOA)Pediatric Anesthesiology fellowship training requiredMust hold or obtain an Oklahoma medical license prior to employmentCertifications required : Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)Must provide documentation of pediatric anesthesia case volumeEMR utilized : EpicBenefits
