• Float mostly to Med / Surg and ED Hold, additional units as needed
• \n\nBase Rate : $45.50 / hr.\n\nOur Float Pool Registered Nurses raise the bar by providing clinical expertise and the highest quality care, in the most compassionate way. Our RN Float Pool Team provides care to a variety of patients throughout our Hospital. Our Pool RN's float to our Critical Care, Emergency Room, Step Down and Medical floors. We are looking for a Registered Nurse that is interested in working with a diverse group of patients in a role that allows for developing additional Nursing skills. We are an amazing team, that works hard to support each other and are seeking a phenomenal addition, like you, who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do.\n\nWhat You Will Do In This Role : \n
• You will perform comprehensive nursing assessments regarding the health status of the patient, following standards of care and disease specific protocols\n
• You will plan, implement and evaluate patient care plans to optimize outcomes and maximize available resources\n
• You will provide direct nursing care and supervise non-licensed nursing staff within the RN's scope of practice and in accordance with established policies\n
• You will provide education and emotional support appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstance and incorporate patient / family teaching into all aspects of nursing practice\n\nWhat qualifications you will need : \n
• At least 2 years of experience in an acute care hospital within Med Surg / Tele or PCU or ICU\n
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date\n
• Registered Nurse in the state of Texas or compact state license\n
• Associate Degree in Nursing\n
