Staffing Coordinator
This position is responsible for talking to referral sources, collecting information and entering it into the computer, completing initial authorization, and verifying insurance so the patient can receive appropriate treatment from the appropriate departments. Night shift scope as a staffing coordinator includes : coordinating, implementing, and performing day to day scheduling and assignments of clinical team consistent with physician orders, regulatory rules, and agency standards. Communicating effectively with accurate and appropriate information to the healthcare team regarding clients needs. Maintaining a thorough knowledge of the agency products and services, acuity capabilities, referral relationships, team productivity, and available capacity. Supporting and facilitating a growth culture and ensuring the growth and profitability of the agency through the responsible use of company resources. Educating the community regarding our services. Demonstrating organizational, prioritization, and actively participating in problem solving, being empowered to expedite decisions, explore and recommend options, and follow-up on outstanding issues related to their work. Developing, implementing, monitoring, and ensuring compliance with policy and procedures which support the aligned departmental and organizations goals and business objectives. Collaborating with staff to assure that services are provided at quality levels consistent with professional standards and goals. Performing assigned quality assurance duties. Demonstrating teamwork, accountability, compassion, and kindness with professionalism and customer service. Ensuring protected health information is kept confidential. Reporting grievances and complaints made by clients, families, referral sources, and other health care professionals. Reporting allegations of client abuse, neglect, and / or misappropriation of client property.
Minimum qualifications include : high school diploma or equivalent, minimum of one year of related healthcare experience, previous scheduling experience, previous staffing experience, proficient in intermediate Excel, highly detail-oriented, advanced multitasking abilities, and strong expertise in managing multiple applications and groups simultaneously.
Location : Peaks Regional Office, Work City : Broomfield, Work State : Colorado, Scheduled Weekly Hours : 40. The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience. $18.81 - $27.45.
