Summary :

The School Registered Nurse provides comprehensive health services to students with significant disabilities. This role ensures the promotion of health, prevention of illness, and management of chronic and acute medical conditions in a school setting.

Key Responsibilities :

• Deliver direct nursing care including medication administration, treatments, and first aid.
• Develop and implement individualized healthcare plans and emergency action plans.
• Monitor students' health status and respond to medical emergencies.
• Maintain accurate health records and documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families to support students' educational and health needs.
• Provide health education and training to staff regarding infection control, safety, and medical procedures.
