the scope of service is consistent with the current mission of the hospital to provide quality community-based primary health care to Jefferson and surrounding counties.
Job Description : Were seeking a part-time Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Jefferson Hospital.
Essential Duties / Responsibilities :
- Provides daily care of all patients that have ordered therapy provided by theCardiopulmonary Department.
- Performs and explains blood gas results and arterial punctures at the radial,brachial and femoral arteries
- Conducts sterile procedures when warranted and understands standardprecautions in accordance with the Infection Control Policy.
- Manages and operates respiratory equipment and devices in a safe and effectivemanner to assist patients. Troubleshoots basic equipment issues.
