Schedule : Monday–Friday, Full-Time (40 hours per week)
Compensation : $17–$19 per hour
Job Summary
The Assistant Recruiter / Scheduler plays a key role in ensuring smooth daily operations between caregivers, clients, and the office team. This position supports both the recruiting and scheduling functions — actively calling and screening caregiver candidates, coordinating interviews and orientations, and managing phone calls regarding client–caregiver schedules with accuracy and care.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Recruiting Support
- Conduct outbound calls for pre-screen caregiver applicants.
- Schedule, confirm and conduct interviews, orientations, and onboarding sessions.
- Assist with new hire paperwork, background checks, and employment verifications.
- Maintain an organized candidate tracking system within Apploi Software.
- Provide a professional and welcoming candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
- Support caregiver retention through follow-up calls and engagement initiatives.
Scheduling & Coordination
Assist with answering inbound calls from existing and prospective clients and caregiversMatch caregivers to clients based on skills, experience, and client preferences.Work with Lead Scheduler to maintain accurate, up-to-date caregiver and client schedules in WellSky Personal Care .Communicate schedule changes, call-offs, and updates promptly and professionally.Coordinate with Lead Recruiter to ensure consistent coverage and client satisfaction.Maintain meticulous documentation of caregiver and client communications in WellSky.Office & Administrative Support
Answer incoming calls, take messages, and respond to inquiries with courtesy.Support general office functions and assist with administrative tasks as needed.Participate in team meetings, appreciation events, and community outreach.Serve on our on-call scheduling rotation (typically one weekend per month).Qualifications & Skills
High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.1–2 years of office or administrative experience (home care experience a plus).Experience in recruiting, staffing, interviewing and scheduling strongly preferred.Proficient with Microsoft Office and scheduling software (WellSky experience ideal).Excellent communication and customer service skills.Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.Ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and composure.Reliable, professional, and team-oriented attitude.Work Environment
