Job description

Job Summary :

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide high-quality care and support to individuals who require assistance with daily living activities. The Caregiver will ensure the safety, comfort, and well-being of our clients while respecting their dignity and promoting independence.

Pay Range : $18 - $21

Key Responsibilities :

  • Personal Care : Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
  • Health Monitoring : Observe and report changes in clients' health conditions, ensure medication adherence, and assist with medical appointments.
  • Household Duties : Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.
  • Companionship : Provide emotional support and companionship, engage clients in meaningful activities, and promote social interaction.
  • Transportation : Assist clients with transportation to appointments, shopping, and other errands as needed.
  • Safety : Ensure a safe environment by following safety protocols and assisting with mobility aids and fall prevention measures.
  • Documentation : Maintain accurate records of care provided, including daily logs, incident reports, and care plans.

Qualifications :

  • Experience : Minimum of 1 year experience as a caregiver in a facility or in a similar role is preferred.
  • Skills : Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, empathy, and patience.
  • Certifications : Certification as a nursing assistant (CNA) is required. CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
  • Physical Requirements : Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
  • Background Check : Must pass a background check and have a clean driving record.
