Occupational Therapist Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of occupational therapy experience in an acute care hospital setting

Active New Jersey Occupational Therapist license (required at time of application)

BLS certification (Basic Life Support)

Flu vaccine required (no exceptions or declinations accepted)

Occupational Therapist Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality occupational therapy services to patients in an inpatient acute care environment

Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to create and implement individualized treatment plans

Assess, plan, and document patient progress, outcomes, and therapy goals

Educate patients and families on occupational therapy objectives and home care strategies

Ensure compliance with hospital policies, clinical standards, and regulatory requirements
