Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a Pediatric ICU RN for a critical care float pool night shift position requiring active MO and KS or compact licensure and prior travel experience.

Responsibilities

  • Work in a hospital Pediatric ICU as part of the critical care float pool
  • Floating to similar critical care units (PICU, NICU, CVPICU) on the same campus is required
  • Occasional floating to a nearby campus in Kansas may be needed
  • Patient population includes pediatric critical care cases
  • Night shift schedule with 3x12 hour shifts per week
  • Assignment length is 13 weeks
  • Must pass a medication / dosage test during the first week of assignment
  • First time travelers are welcome for this position
  • Nicotine-free campus with testing for nicotine use
  • Flexible scheduling is preferred
  • Local candidates accepted at the same rate

    • Requirements

  • Active MO or compact RN license and KS RN license required
  • BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA required
  • PALS certification from AHA required
  • Travel nursing experience required
  • Recent experience in PICU, NICU, or CVPICU highly preferred
  • Clean Nursys report required
  • Date of birth and Social Security number required for consideration
  • Two supervisory references from the last 12 months required
