Estimated Weekly Salary : $1750 - $1870 per week

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Texas RN license or compact state license (Registered Nurse Texas)

BLS certification (American Heart Association required)

Minimum 1 year of operating room nursing experience (OR RN jobs)

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills

Operating Room Nurse Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive nursing care to surgical patients using the nursing process : assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation

Administer medications and treatments per hospital protocols, monitoring for side effects and effectiveness

Accurately document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided

Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families

Educate patients, families, and caregivers on care plans and post-operative instructions

Delegate and assign tasks appropriately to other healthcare providers

Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and optimal clinical outcomes
