Social Media & Sales Intern

Location : Folsom, CA

Schedule : Part-time (15-40 hours / week)

Reports To : Mallorie Perez, RN — Clinical Nursing Director

Compensation : $16-$18 / hour (DOE) + performance bonuses

Position Overview

The Social Media & Sales Intern will work directly with the owner and creative team to help grow Bonita Aesthetics' online presence and assist with patient acquisition. This is a hands-on learning role ideal for someone interested in aesthetics, marketing, or entrepreneurship who wants real-world experience in a fast-paced beauty business.

You'll learn how to :

Curate and schedule engaging content for Instagram and TikTok

Engage with leads and followers through DMs and comments

Assist in lead nurturing, client follow-ups, and booking coordination

Support influencer campaigns and content days

Track marketing performance and trends

Learn aesthetic industry language, branding, and patient communication

Key Responsibilities

Create short-form videos and help plan trending Reels / TikToks

Draft captions and hashtags aligned with brand tone (fun, confident, relatable)

Assist with engagement (replying to comments, messages, etc.)

Support lead generation efforts (DM outreach, appointment follow-ups, etc.)

Help organize content shoots and influencer days

Maintain weekly analytics reports on engagement and growth

Assist with front desk or event duties as needed

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent

Passion for beauty, aesthetics, and social media

Strong communication and writing skills

Familiar with Instagram, TikTok, and Canva (or eager to learn!)

Positive, self-motivated, and reliable attitude

Willingness to learn sales and patient communication scripts
