Title : Medical Collections Specialist

Location : Gibbsboro, NJ 08026

Schedule : Monday-Friday, 8 : 00 AM - 4 : 30 PM

Type : 4 month Contract-to-Hire

Pay Rate : $18-$19 / hr

Once hired full-time : commission and bonuses available with potential to earn $50-$60k your first year!

Responsibilities

• Manage and follow up on outstanding patient accounts to ensure timely collections.
• Establish and maintain positive rapport with patients while demonstrating empathy and professionalism.
• Contact patients by phone, email, and mail regarding past-due balances and payment arrangements.
• Review and resolve payer denials or billing discrepancies in a timely and accurate manner.
• Document all communication and account activity within the billing system.
• Collaborate with internal billing and customer service teams to ensure account accuracy and compliance.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
• Meet or exceed daily and monthly collection goals.
• Training is available candidates will be supported throughout onboarding to ensure success in the role.
